Buenos Aires – center of both commercial cinema and cinematic production – has a huge infrastructure at its disposal. The places to watch movies are mostly collected in the barrio San Nicolás (Lavalle and Corrientes streets), especially in complexes with more than one screen in the same building.

Showings run from lunchtime to midnight, with late night movies on weekends and the nights before public holidays.
