We call Art the creative activity of the respective individual (the artist) to produce an esthetic product through various media, and in consequence, the collection of work that has been created by this activity.

Buenos Aires shows off its best exponents in the most diverse fields of this human endeavour, alongside those of globally-renowned international artists, in frank recognition of an art without frontiers.

From plastic art: Berni, Castagnino and Xul Solar, Francis Bacon and Frank Stella, Guillermo Kuitca, Alfredo Prior and Rómulo Maccio, Quinquela, Noé, Alonso, De la Vega, Gorriarena, Roux, Minuji, Carpani, Marcos López and Coppola, hanging in art galleries and museums; literature: Borges, Arlt, Bioy Casares, Mujica Láinez, Payró, Lugones, Capdevila, Ocampo, Sarlo, Bunge, Storni, Orozco, discussed and read in cultural centers and poetic performances; porteño music: Armando Pontier, Osvaldo Pugliese, Anibal Troilo, Julio de Caro, Horacio Salgán, Mariano Mores, Astor Piazzolla; dance: Julio Boca, Eleonora Cassano, Maximiliano Guerra, found in big theaters like the Teatro Colón; sculpture: Lola Mora, Agustín Riganelli, Antonio Seguí, shown in all the artistic squares of the city, among many more examples.
